On March 12th 2008, my spec commercial (in conjunction with Heinz's "Top This" TV Challenge) went live online. It is an orignal concept written, driected, and produced by me in accordance with the challenge and broadcst TV rules. It is a 30 second ad called:
The commercial is a parody of Jaz-Z's "99 Problems" and is not copyright infringement due to the fact that it was developed as a parody and contains original lyrics and music. The lyrics were written by Ryan W. Gates and the music composed by James Oakar. The concept, ad, and right to distribution are fully owned by Ryan W. Gates.
As well, I made a series of viral videos designed to flood search engines with content linking you to the original video. The first round of viral videos was released on March 12th 2008 and contained:
