Ryan W. Gates
Ryan Gates was born in Wichita, Kansas where he studied acting from an early age along with his sister, Lindsey. His mother, Toni, directed children's theater and was a producer of start up plays. He attended the Walnut Hill School and Chapel Hill - Chauncy Hall School in Massachusetts before going to college in New York at Sarah Lawrence College and NYU Tisch.
While in New York, he developed a career directing children's television, producing commercials and working with directors such as Laurie Anderson, Jed Weintrob, and Kool Mo Dee. He also produced live comedy and was a collaborator on The Shark Show, one of NYC's longest running underground comedy variety shows. Ryan currently resides in California where he continues his work in advertising, production, and development.
